Mercedes is trying to move its remaining 2026 Maybach S 680 inventory in the United States with an unusually large incentive on the luxury sedan. The savings could be enough to purchase a well-equipped Mercedes-AMG C 43.
The 2026 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 is now covered by a $70,000 dealer cash incentive, according to new information. The offer was previously set at $35,000, an already substantial amount that evidently did not help Mercedes sell the cars as quickly as intended.
As CarsDirect points out, dealerships are not expected to advertise the incentive, meaning many potential Maybach buyers may be unaware of it. Because the offer is dealer cash rather than an automatic MSRP discount or rebate, each dealer can choose to keep the $70,000 as extra profit or pass some or all of it on to the buyer.
Limited Inventory

Mercedes currently has only 34 examples of the 2026 S 680 in its US inventory, so the cars could disappear quickly. With the model starting at $245,750, the incentive amounts to 28 percent of its price. Buyers with a lower budget can choose the S 580, which starts at $208,500 and is currently eligible for a $45,000 incentive.
The 2026 models also lack many of the features introduced earlier this year with the facelifted Maybach, which arrives in the US as a 2027 model. The updated range brings exterior changes such as new LED headlights and taillights, along with interior upgrades including the largest MB.OS infotainment system, improved rear seats, and a new active suspension system. The S 580 also gains the brand’s new 4.0-liter flat-plane-crank twin-turbo V8.
