Alpine introduced the A290 in 2024 as a sportier take on the Renault 5 E-Tech, giving it a bespoke bodykit and more potent electric powertrain options. Two years later, the brand has added the A290 Collection, which sharpens the exterior appearance and brings distinctive details to the cabin.
Developed through the Atelier Alpine personalization program, the new specification is available throughout the A290 range, including the GT, GT Performance, and GTS trims.
A290 Collection models come standard in Blanc Nival (Snow White), while customers can instead select the more upscale Bleu Orage Mat (Matte Storm Blue). Both colors are paired with a Deep Black roof, which matches the aerodynamic additions on the bumpers and side skirts.

The key visual change is the addition of body-colored fender extensions. They give the car a cleaner appearance than the crossover-inspired black cladding used on the standard A290 and its closely related Renault 5 E-Tech.
The Collection also includes 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a snowflake-inspired design and Silver Grey front brake calipers. Chrome Alpine emblems are fitted to the charging port, while a French flag decal on the C-pillar is available as an option.
Inside, the seats and decorative inserts on the door panels, dashboard, and center console combine Deep Blue and Evee Grey. A black heated steering wheel is standard, with blue available as an option.

The Collection treatment is offered with both powertrain choices. A single electric motor produces either 178 hp (130 kW / 180 PS) or 217 hp (160 kW / 220 PS), while the standard 52 kWh battery provides 236 miles (380 km) of WLTP range.
The all-electric hot hatch is a significant model for Alpine, accounting for 70% of the brand’s sales. Nearly 80% of A290 customers also come from outside the Renault Group.
The Alpine A290 Collection will be displayed in Hall 6 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, which runs in the French capital from October 12 to 18. Alpine will also show highly personalized A390 fastback crossover examples, a sculpture depicting the next-generation A110 sports car, and a mystery concept that could develop into a production GT.

The Alpine A290 Collection adds body-colored wheel arches, exclusive paint and interior details, plus 19-inch alloy wheels to the electric hot hatch. Offered across the GT, GT Performance and GTS grades, it retains the choice of 180 hp or 220 hp powertrains and a 52 kWh battery with up to 236 miles (380 km) of WLTP range. The model will appear at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.
